Stars that twinkle high above
Brighten the sky and fill it with love,
Darkness sparkles wintercold
Above us all as we grow old.
Each night above in darkening sky
We witness birth in a lonely place.
The certainty calms our daily fears
Life’s cycle moving on by years.
We know the light in stars will die
Diminishing brightness in the sky
A moment of stillness, a moment of cold
And then a new light replaces the old.
Like the Star of Bethlehem once shone
To light the way of those alone,
May the stars that sparkle in the sky above
Always fill your heart with love!
